Bridging Latency

Hi,

More of a general question here regarding bridging. My understanding is that SRT is the underlying protocol behind bridging. What is the default latency there and would it be possible in the future to be able to adjust this setting?

Thanks for reaching out to us!

The “Regular” bridge that is used between two physical machines is TAG proprietary protocol, which has sub frame latency.

When at least one of the machines is cloud based we’ll automatically use H264 over SRT that should have latency of about 1 sec.

We don’t currently have plans to make this configurable.
