Curious if there are plans to support a GDR mode for TAG outputs and if so, when that might be released?

At present, TAG outputs do not support GDR mode. There is also no publicly committed timeline for adding this capability.
If GDR support is important for your workflow, please submit a formal feature request through TAG service desk tab in your community portal. This helps product management assess demand and prioritize development.
